Short Stories And Anthologies: Mutsu

by Charles Howell

Short Stories And Anthologies: Mutsu - Six tales of the dark and fantastic.

Publication Date: May 10, 2015

Mutsu is the Japanese word for six. This collection of stories by Charles Howell could only be labeled so, as the subject matter and genre of each story is unique, although each deals with the fantastic or surreal in some way.

"The Deserving Soul" shows us how people can be destroyed by hubris. A young man striving to find his place in the world gains a unique perspective in "Pilgrimage." A father whose life was destroyed when he lost his daughter says goodbye in "Reunion." "Piano Practice" tells the story of a boy whose piano lessons were hell.

A father gets more than he planned for putting his son to bed in "Monsters in the Room." And a girl who imagines herself as a fairytale princess discovers just how harsh fairy tales can be in "Faced With Reality."

Mutsu Is Available On Kindle, In Paperback And Free With Kindle Unlimited.
