Literary Fiction: A Resignation

by Joshua Cliburn

Joseph Moore is on the verge of achieving all his dreams - by quitting his job. But when he does, his employer surprises by telling him no. Not being one to take no for an answer, Joseph works himself up to being fired before he then sues his employer for "wrongful employment". In this absurd take on modern employment, A Resignation hits the few small highs and all the crushing lows of surviving the recession in America.
