Read What One Book Reviewer Had To Say Below!
Just got my first slow cooker and I am thrilled with this book. I never would have thought to use some of the ingredients suggested (like salad dressing) but boy are all the recipes I've tried so far yummy.
I completely disagree with the reviewer who said boneless, skinless chicken is "the lowest form." Don't think she understands what that type of chicken actually is. It is the HIGHEST quality as it is just meat, and no bones.
So ounce for ounce all you pay for is the chicken you eat rather than a carcass that gets thrown out. A chicken nugget is usually mechanically made: chopped, pressed and formed with added ingredients. Yes, that is a low form.
