Contemporary Poetry: “david.”

by Christian St. Croix

a shirt. some brandy. a harp. a horn. an airstream. a fist. a stripe. a machine. thursday. a flee. a brook. las vegas. some boys. shaving cream. and you. “david” is a collection of verses, stories, prose and poetry by queer up-and-coming storyteller, Christian St. Croix.

What One Reader Had To Say!

I love poetry and found this book extremely enjoyable to read. Poetry to me is like Jazz, not always a rhyme or reason for every word yet it all fits beautifully together and means something different to each individual absorbing it. A good poem (to me) is like the ebb and flow of the ocean, soothing yet thought provoking. As I read through this book I was captivated not only by the writing style but by the ongoing story Christian tells. It is vivid, authentic, and captures his heart in a striking way.
