This is a nice little bedtime story for children that are going through the transition of sleeping in their own room. Joey is a boy that refuses to sleep in his bedroom alone.
His mammy has to lie on the floor beside him but he will just talk and talk all night long. One night she tells him she used to be afraid of sleeping alone when she was little. She gives him some magic dust and this this brings him on a crazy adventure to a land of pirates that just don’t like to sleep!
Denise McCabe is a working mother and lives in Dublin with her husband and two children. In between being a cook, a taxi driver, a counselor, friend and sometimes a human bouncy castle she loves to write. Occasionally she sleeps!
