About The Book:
Gemma is 7 years old and moves to a farm inherited by her parents. She is excited about the move, but also sad to be leaving old friends behind. After arriving at Rainbow Farm, Gemma soon finds out that the farm is a magical place where she can actually talk to the animals. With an old red hen named Carol as her guide, Gemma is thrilled to make new friends and explore the magic of Rainbow Farm.
About The Author:
I live in England and I am the mother of a wonderful son and two beautiful grandchildren. While my son was growing up, I often made up stories to tell him at bedtime and his favorites were always the stories about Gemma and Rainbow Farm. My grandchildren love Gemma too and I finally decided to bring her to life in books so other children could enjoy the stories about her adventures.
"Gemma's first time living on a farm after having lived in town all her life makes a great read for little kids. She reminds me a lot of my youngest granddaughter to whom I read the story. My granddaughter really enjoyed the story especially when Gemma met the ducks for the first time. This is definitely a great story for kids and for adults to read to children. I give the story itself 5 stars."
