Q: Do you guarantee book sales?

A: No author however great they may be has a given right to book sales just because they have a book out. There are many factors that go into a reader making the decision to purchase ones book, and although we do not guarantee or make promises to sell books on the behalf of any author, here are a few tips to ensure that you always put your best foot forward. 

Have an engaging book blurb. You will be surprised to know how many books we see with a lonely two sentences that do little to entice a reader into a purchase. Book summaries should smack the reader right between the eyes and give them little chance of clicking away from your page.

Book covers: If your book cover sucks it won’t matter how good the story is, because the reader may not get that far.

Author bios are the cream on top of the pudding; spend time giving the perspective reader a little glimpse into your world; it could be the difference between you making a sale or them moving on.

Price: Some write for fun and satisfaction, while others write to get paid. If you fall into the latter, please bear this next sentence in mind. Price can most defiantly make or break the deal…Always price wisely and never lose sight of the bigger picture. It is always better to make a little money from each sale rather than a lot of nothing from no sales.  

Research the books that have done well in your chosen genre. We found that on some occasions, books gather interest from our visitors long after a promo has finished.  Many readers may see a title of interest and add it to their ‘must read’ list.  Never be put off by slow sales, because you are in this author project for the long haul. Q: Do I need book reviews before I can use this service?

A: Unlike many other services, we welcome books with few or no reviews. Please be aware that many readers expect to read reviews before deciding if they want to purchase your book. If you have fewer than five reviews it’s always wise to make sure that you spend extra time crafting a well written and engaging book summary.
